Fellowship helps vets learn holistic skills
Hoffman Estates, IL (PRWEB) November 3, 2014 – Veterinarians seeking a holistic approach to treatment will be able benefit from a new fellowship program. A portion of all sales up to $50,000 at shop.Mercola.com will be donated to support this innovative fellowship through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (UTCVM) during the week of November 2-8.
This post-doctoral educational opportunity supplies vets with the knowledge to refine and build upon vital holistic and integrative medical training. The goal is to expand this pilot program to include other teaching institutions, allowing many more vets the opportunity to gain additional skills in the healing arts not currently taught in many veterinary schools.
The program was designed by Dr. Donna Raditic, DVM, DACVN, CVA, a board-certified veterinary nutritionist and a certified veterinary acupuncturist.
Besides shopping on Mercola’s website this week, people can also donate directly to UTCVM’s fellowship at https://securelb.imodules.com/s/1341/utia/index.aspx?sid=1341&gid=21&pgid=3681&cid=5545.
Please copy and paste the link into your browser. Also, be sure to put "Integrative Medicine" in the "other" field on the UTCVM site to ensure your donation is given to the fellowship.
