It truly boggles the mind that a company like Coca-Cola has the gall to tell you that it is fighting the fight against obesity. Aspartame, touted by Coca-Cola as a “safe, high-quality alternative to sugar,” is not the solution to your expanding waistline that Coke promotes it to be.
Reported Aspartame Side Effects Cannot Be Ignored
Aspartame is the technical name for brand names NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, and Equal-Measure. In 1965, it was discovered by accident when James Schlatter, a chemist of G.D. Searle Company, was testing an anti-ulcer drug.
