'Psychokinesiology': Biofeedback Guided Counseling
and Healing
Applied Psychoneurobiology
is one of the most revolutionary yet non-invasive and elegant healing
techniques available today.
It uses only 2 tools: your mind and your hands!
APN is based in a deep understanding of psychoneuroimmunology
and neurobiology. It can be applied to any physical or mental illness.
It has proven to play an important component in the treatment of cancer
and in its use with chronic pain it has yielded most remarkable results.
Unresolved emotional conflicts (UEC) and unresolved
emotional traumata (UET) from early childhood remains active in our unconscious
mind throughout adult life and communicates via the limbic-hypothalamic
axis with the autonomic nervous system (ANS).
The UEC/UET leads to a constant conflict specific
arousal of portions of the ANS, leading to vasoconstriction, ground system
and cell membrane changes in the target organs and areas. This causes
chronic biochemical and electromagnetic changes, alterations of the immune
system, secondary structural changes and illness.
Muscle testing (ART) can be used as the ideal
tool to obtain feedback concerning the state of arousal of the ANS.
When the therapist asks the patient a question,
which approaches a painful memory, the subconscious sends a stress signal
via the ANS to the body, which can be detected with a simple muscle test.
Through a series of appropriate questions and muscle-testing biofeedback,
the UEC can be rapidly uncovered. APN is thusly used to facilitate this
intimate dialogue with the subconscious mind.
Day 1:
The
5 levels of healing
What is the nature of an unresolved conflict:
Why bother?
The psychobiology and physiology of emotional
pain
The developmental psychology of psycho-emotional
problems:
- The intra-uterine period
- Birth and other severe traumata
- Childhood, adolescence and the grown up years
Muscle testing and the subconscious mind:
ideomotor responses
3 ways, how to recognize if a physical problem
has a psycho-emotional component or cause
How to dialogue with the subconscious and how
to uncover the UEC/UET
The algorithm for muscle testing/dialoguing with
the subconscious
Practice, practice, practice - and demonstrations
Day 2:
Illness
as a Pawlowian reflex
Three different methods to uncouple the ANS from
the limbic system:
- The tapping of ANS receptors in the cranial sutures
- Eye movement uncoupling
- Uncoupling with colored glasses
Conscience, belief systems and restricting
beliefs
No liberation without guilt
A freeing belief system
What is healing - what works? Specific steps ...
How to get to "here and now"?
Practice, practice, practice - and demonstrations
Day 3:
Practical
Applications
Low back, neck and all other pain problems
Illnesses of the eyes, ENT, jaw and teeth
Headache, cardiovascular disease and stroke
Depression, fatigue and chronic illness
APN allergy desensitization technique
APN is easy to
learn and requires mostly common sense - no prior training as a psychotherapist.
Even though the results are often dramatic and lasting, the technique
is safe and gentle. Dr. Klinghardt published a best-selling medical textbook
in Germany on the subject (Lehrbuch der Psychokinesiologie). As a result,
APN (or "PK") has become the fastest growing technique in modern
psychosomatic medicine in the German speaking countries.
ART I Refresher Course
(with Andreanna Rainville, RN)
A refresher course will be taught on June 22 from
9am to 12pm covering the core-information from ART. This is a hands-on
course for the new comer or the old timer who wants to brush up on their
skills. Skills gained in ART I one will be used frequently throughout
the course. If you have not taken ART I you must take this course in order
to attend APN I. It is also strongly suggested that you order the ART
I videos to view prior to the course. The cost of the refresher course
is $100 and it will be held at the same location as the APN I seminar.
