Writing about an upsetting experience can help to boost your immune
system and help wounds heal quicker, according to a new study.
Wounds healed quicker among people who wrote about their troubles
as opposed to those who wrote about frivolous things. People who
did not write about an upsetting event also had higher levels of
stress and psychological distress.
Researchers believe the writing offers a long-term benefit to wound
recovery.
