| A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel recommended that silicone breast implants return to the market.
The recommendation came after the FDA held a review of the use of silicon in breast implants for the first time in over a decade. Women who have suffered medical problems that they attribute to silicone implants were fighting to keep them off the market, however plastic surgeons believe the demand for silicone implants will be high.
