The 2002 immunization schedule encourages the routine use of hepatitis B vaccine for all infants before hospital discharge. These recommendations are inexcusable.

The central nervous system of a newborn infant is particularly susceptible to toxic influences. This is one of the reasons why the hepatitis B vaccine is such a problem. If it were given later in life, as is done in many other countries, it would not be as much of a problem.

This is especially tragic as there is virtually no legitimate indication to give this vaccine at birth. The only infants who may benefit are those born to women infected with hepatitis B.

The central fact, and the one that helps to explain these insane recommendations, is that Merck, the maker of the hepatitis B vaccine, makes about $1 billion a year from vaccine sales.

I have seen many dozens of children who were given this vaccine on their first day of life and subsequently developed autism. Others, like Michael Belkin's daughter, weren't as lucky and died immediately after the vaccine. Michael is a successful Wall Street financial analyst with his own company, and has testified to Congress on this issue.

Hepatitis B is a rare, mainly blood-transmitted disease. In 1996, only 54 cases of the disease were reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the 0 to 1 age group. There were 3.9 million births that year, so the observed incidence of hepatitis B in the 0 to 1 age group was just 0.001 percent.

In the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) there were 1,080 total reports of adverse reactions from hepatitis B vaccine in 1996 in the 0 to 1 age group, with 47 deaths reported.

Think of that in terms of probability: the possibility of contracting the disease is exceedingly difficult for children and only 1.25 percent of those who are exposed will actually develop the most serious complication!

This type of "protecting the needle in the haystack" medicine is absurd at best, dangerous at worst.

What follows is another tragic story of a woman looking for answers from Michael Belkin to explain the death of her son, who died shortly after receiving hepatitis B vaccine:

"Michael ~ I'm sorry for blindsiding you with this e-mail but I am praying you can help us. I was given your name and e-mail from a lady at the vaccine place I called today.

We buried our 24-day-old son last night. He died Friday morning while I was breastfeeding him. I had brought him up to my chest to burp him and noticed blood running out of his mouth. My son died in my arms and nothing I could do saved him.

They did a rush autopsy and found NOTHING wrong... can't even explain where he was bleeding from. We have to wait six or more agonizing weeks for his toxicology reports now. I've wracked my brain as to what has caused this. The coroner says SIDS and I don't buy it. During the service, it popped into my head that he had been vaccinated for Hep B about 32 hours prior to his death.

Please, I need some help with this and have no idea where to begin. No one here will listen and says that I'm a grieving mother grasping at straws, but I have no other explanation. My heart aches so much and I'm blaming myself even more now knowing I signed the consent to have it done. If you can send me any info you have as to the symptoms in deaths or ANYTHING you may have on this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Both my husband and I just know that a cause of death from SIDS doesn't sit well. Kylie"

I'm really sorry about your son. Same thing happened to my daughter.

Below are links to start educating yourself. I suggest going through the online VAERS database and selecting all deaths/hepatitis B vaccine (they might call it just hepatitis). Almost a thousand I think. Read the text at the end of each record. That should give you some perspective.

There's nothing you can do to bring your son back, but you can educate yourself about how the immune system works and perhaps help others avoid the same fate by becoming active in the NVIC [National Vaccine Information Center] after you learn how the 'system' works.

I won't tell you what to do, that is of course for you and your husband to decide. I will tell you what we have done. We now have a 2 ½-year-old son--no vaccines, no antibiotics, focus on nutrition, emphasis on www.mercola.com diet (omega-3 fish oil, lot of vegetables (mostly organic), high protein, wild salmon, meat (buffalo, ostrich). He is healthier and more mature than most of his peer group. We have a daughter due any minute. Same plan.

Watch out for pediatricians, they are BS science. "Well Child' visit? Look what happened to your son and my daughter. Do not trust them unless you find someone not brainwashed.

So what can you do? Please tell every pregnant woman you know about this issue. They need to know the facts BEFORE they are in the hospital so they have time to make an informed decision. If they are still convinced their child needs hepatitis B vaccine, beg them to make sure their child does not receive the vaccine as a newborn. Delay the vaccine until the child is really at a possible risk for the disease, like late adolescence.

I have shown dozens of times in this newsletter drugs that are thought to be safe pulled from the market after they have killed dozens or hundreds of people. I am hopeful that hepatitis B vaccinations in newborns will be stopped. Medical science will have to recognize the truth sooner or later.

Drug deaths pale in comparison to the devastation in lost lives that are resulting from implementation of this hepatitis B recommendation.
