National Applied Kinesiology Club & Metabolic Management Welcome:

"Your patients will make you the complete doctor if you let them" -George Goodheart, D.C. Original Developer of Applied Kinesiology
"Muscle testing is an important tool in the decision making process of what to do for your patient when confronted by a number of different alternatives." -Walter H. Schmitt, Jr., D.C., D.I.B.A.K., D.A.B.C.N.

AK 100-HOUR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Dr. Schmitt has personally designed this SPECIAL REVISED SYLLABUS for a 100-hour basic Applied Kinesiology course. This 8-session program will teach you how to use Applied Kinesiology as a potent tool for evaluating and manipulating the patient's nervous system and nutritional status. Dr. Schmitt is renowned for this approach, which uses muscle testing as a functional neurological and neurochemical assessment.

The goal is to achieve optimal function for our patients and ourselves. This unique seminar, which has been approved by the International College of Applied Kinesiology, will include various structural and nutritional aspects each weekend that include supervised hands-on workshop time so the doctor may return to practice armed with new tools for particular problem areas.

About the Speaker

Dr. Schmitt is a graduate of Duke University (1970) and the National College of Chiropractic (1974). After practicing with Dr. George Goodheart, the founder of Applied Kinesiology, he has been in practice in the Chapel Hill area since 1980. He has attained diplomate status in both Applied Kinesiology and Chiropractic Neurology.

His clinical experience of 26 years includes treating mostly difficult referral patients. In addition to writing numerous papers, he is the author of two books for professionals: Common Glandular Dysfunction in the General Practice (1981) and Compiled Notes on Clinical Nutritional Products (1990) and one book for patients: Stop Your Pain Now! (2000).

He serves on the editorial boards of journals Chiropractic Technique and Alternative Medicine Review. He has lectured extensively throughout the US and Abroad.

Each session includes 2 to 4 "AK HOME RUNS." (AK Home Runs are simple, straightforward, "ready-to-use" techniques for common problems, which are sure to be "big hits" in your practice.) If you only take home the "AK Home Runs" from each session, it will be time well spent.

The Home Runs for session two are abdominal weakness in low back problems, sagittal suture, Vitamin E for low back problems, and iliolumbar ligament IRT.

Each weekend seminar is designed as a "stand-alone" session. That is, if you have completed session one, or have previous background in AK, you may attend any single session without being lost by entering in the middle of the series.
